CLEARFIELD— The Clearfield Community Theater will hold open auditions for two of its plays scheduled in 2008.

Auditions for the play "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" will be Saturday, March 29, 9 a.m. until noon.

Play director Shelby Ferrin has asked those attending the audition to please be prepared to sing 16 bars of Broadway music. Each participant must bring with them their own sheet music for the accompanist that will be provided. No taped music or A cappella singing will be allowed.

The second play of the season is the musical, "All Night Strut!" Open auditions are scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 9 a.m. until noon.

Play Director, Andra Thorne will be asking each person to sing 32 measures of an upbeat Broadway song. Each person must provide their own accompanist with no A cappella singing allowed.

All auditions will be held in the Clearfield Community Little Theater located at 140 E. Cente.
