Police are looking for a man they say shot another man during an argument at a Salt Lake apartment building Sunday morning.

Around 4 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in the hand and thigh, but his injuries were not life-threatening, said Salt Lake Police Lt. Dave Hoffman.

Police said the man was arguing with someone in a neighboring apartment near 750 North and 900 West. A Hispanic man wearing a black shirt shot the man in the hallway, Hoffman said. The victim chased the man into the parking lot where another shot was fired, but no one was hit.

The suspect was last seen driving away from the building in a cream colored vehicle.
