Utah's Hogle Zoo is planning special activities for the upcoming Easter and St. Patrick's Day holidays.

On St. Patrick's Day, the zoo will commemorate St. Patrick's driving all the snakes from Ireland by featuring its reticulated python Pita, said zoo spokeswoman Holly Braithewaite. Visitors will be able to guess the python's weight and can take a snake quiz as the reptile collection is featured from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

March 22 and 23, the zoo will celebrate Easter with a hot breakfast buffet for families, Braithewaite said. Children will get to create an Easter craft, visit with the Easter bunny and take up-close looks at small animals. The breakfast will cost between $6 and $14, depending on participant age and member status. Admission to the zoo is free with the meal.
