JesusChrist.lds.org, a new Web site launched to English audiences on March 1, will eventually be available in 10 additional languages.
Visitors will find information, articles and multimedia presentations about the Savior. The site's design and message are meant to reflect the centrality of the Savior and the Atonement to the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The content will initially be comprised of material available in the special-issue Christ-centered March editions of the Ensign and Liahona church magazines but will also make use of the Internet's multimedia capabilities.
The Web site and magazine issues share a common purpose in helping members better understand the Savior.
While the site's content covers a variety of principles related to the Savior, it focuses on three main themes: faith in Jesus Christ, his life and ministry and testimonies of him.Featured content includes messages from members of the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, testimonies of each of the individuals who have served as president of the LDS Church, and access to videos such as "Finding Faith in Christ."
LDS.org is an official Web site of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
