Starbucks now wants to give you a chocolate rush, too.
Starbucks Coffee Co. has launched a line of chocolates laced with the flavors of its coffees and teas, such as Milk Chocolate Caramel Macchiato Truffles, and milk and dark chocolate infused with Tazo brand teas.
The chocolates, which are made by The Hershey Company, were launched this month at grocers and other retailers nationwide. For now, however, the chocolates are not available at Starbucks coffee shops.
The treats run from $2.99 for bars of milk, dark and mocha dark chocolate to around $5.49 for truffles, such as the Dark Chocolate Espresso Truffles and Milk Chocolate Chai Truffles.
The chai infused chocolates hit the right note, offering a subtle spiciness without overwhelming the chocolate. The Milk Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans are an addictive mocha treat.
