LOGAN — Utah State University's business school will be making some major changes once this semester is over.

The school is restructuring itself so it will only have four departments instead of five.

Under the plan, marketing and management will merge, as will economics and finance. Operations and management information systems will also be one department.

Currently, the school has departments of business administration, management information systems, economics, accounting and management and human resources.

Business Dean Douglas Anderson says the goal of restructuring is to integrate programs.
