I thought it was interesting how many Latter-day Saints were convinced that Mitt Romney would not be good for the presidency. When I would ask what was it about Mitt that they just didn't like, the most common answer had nothing to do with Mitt but was all about how much they admired Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton — even though all they knew about them was Obama is black and Hillary is a woman. This election seems to be making morons out of a lot of people.

I think that having a Mormon for a president would have been a much easier pill to swallow for people had we not elected our current governor. With the way he's turned out, I can't really blame people for being hesitant to vote a Mormon into the Oval Office.
