Washington player Alex Ovechkin celebrates his 50th goal of the year against the Boston Bruins Monday night as the Capitals cruised to a 10-2 home win. Ovechkin scored two more goals in the first period and had two assists in the game and is trying to become the first NHL player to score 60 goals since Mario Lemieux did it during the 1995-96 season.
