Kelly Beeny and Kristen Nielsen have been promoted from adviser manager to unit manager at jewelry company Lia Sophia's Sandy store. The promotions allow them opportunities for special benefits such as additional commissions, overrides, monthly bonuses and jewelry premiums.

Rebecca Norman has been named branch manager of the U.S. Bank office inside Smith's Food & Drug store at 156 S. Main, Brigham City. She will be responsible for overall management of the retail branch activities, including customer service and sales. Norman joined the in-store banking team in 2004.

Joy Roop has been named director of marketing and product specialist at Paradigm Medical Industries Inc. She will be involved in the redesign of the company's proprietary products and the development of marketing strategies for new and existing products. Roop spent five years as a marketing executive at another organization.

Jayna Swenson has joined da Vinci Advertising and Marketing as graphic designer. She has been involved in graphic design since 2004, working on projects for several companies and was mostly recently an in-house designer for a business services and telecommunications company.

Mark Christensen has been named chairman of the board of directors and Sam Arditi has joined the board of Celio Corp. Christensen recently left a high-tech company after a 23-year career, where he was corporate vice president and director of communications sectors for one segment of the company. Arditi spent six years at a high-tech company after the acquisition of the company he managed. He also was CEO and co-founder of another company.

• Utah Community Credit Union has announced several promotions. Brad Sweat is the new manager of the Saratoga Springs branch. He has worked for UCCU for 3 1/2 years at branches in Pleasant Grove, East Bay and South Orem. His education includes a degree from Utah Valley State College. Dallas Proctor is the new assistant vice president of e-services. Proctor has worked for UCCU as personal branch network administrator and e-services manager. He has been with the credit union for nine years. Nathan Hales is the new vice president of information technology. He has been with UCCU since 1992, when he was hired as a computer operator. Since then, he has held the positions of coordinator of electronic services, manager of host systems and assistant vice president of host operations. He has a degree from Brigham Young University. Kimberley Henson is the new vice president of branch operations and compliance. This is her 22nd year with UCCU. She has held a variety of positions, including collections manager, branch manager and assistant vice president. She has degrees from the University of Phoenix. Gerald Naumann is the new manager of UCCU's RiverWoods branch. He has worked for UCCU for more than six years at the Pleasant Grove office as an MSR/loan officer and assistant manager. He has a degree from Brigham Young University. Ryan Howell is the new vice president of consumer lending. Howell started his career with UCCU in 1993. He has worked as a teller, member services representative, mortgage loan officer and branch manager. His education includes degrees from Utah Valley State College and the University of Phoenix.

Charles B. Stanley has been promoted to chief operating officers at Questar Corp. He previously was president and chief executive officer of Questar's largest subsidiary, Questar Market Resources, and also a Questar executive vice president and director. Alan K. Allred, president and chief executive officer of Questar's utility subsidiary, Questar Gas, will retire later this year, and Ronald W. Jibson has been promoted to executive vice president of Questar Gas and senior vice president of Questar Corp. In addition to his current responsibilities as vice president of operations, Jibson has assumed responsibility for the utility's finance, accounting, regulatory, gas supply and other staff functions.

Frances A. Hume has been appointed to vice chair of the Human Resource Certification Institute Board. Hume is president of Hume 'n Resources, an executive coaching and strategic human resources consulting firm in Park City. A human resource veteran of 30 years, she was formerly the executive vice president of strategic development and vice president of human resources at a Springville-based company. Her education includes a degree from the University of Utah. She is an adjunct professor for the University of Utah, Brigham Young University and Utah Valley State College.

Randall Crocker has joined Revinetix as vice president of marketing. Crocker will be responsible for the company's marketing direction toward its core small- and medium-sized business market as well as identifying and introducing new markets to Revinetix' broad product line. Crocker has more than 20 years of marketing and product management experience, most recently as senior vice president of consulting and training for a privately held technical consulting and training company; vice president of corporate marketing at another firm; and senior director of direct marketing at another.

Sandra Camargo and Christian Martinez have joined Axiom Financial as mortgage consultants. Camargo comes to Axiom with 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. Martinez joined the company from his previous position at another home loans company and brings five years of experience in the mortgage industry.

Trisha Wrigley has been named 2008 chairwoman of the Utah Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy. Wrigley has experience in supporting financial education for youth. She has been a member of the coalition board of directors for six years and directed the activities for the annual Teachers Summit held in Midway in November. Wrigley is currently program manager in the state of Utah for the BizWorld Foundation, an education nonprofit that promotes entrepreneurship, business and financial education for youth.

Mark Parry-Jones and Marnie Glasson have joined iBahn's team in the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Bangkok, Parry-Jones joins the company as regional sales director. He has more than 15 years of experience in various aspects of technology for the hospitality market. Prior to joining iBahn, Parry-Jones served as regional sales director for another company. Glasson joins iBahn as regional sales director in Australia. Glasson brings 18 years of experience in the Australian broadcast media industry to the company. Prior to joining iBahn, she served as business sales manager at another company.

David W. Faddis has been named director of SkyWest Airlines' enhanced operations safety and compliance department. He will be responsible for all safety and security programs, auditing and compliance throughout the airline's operation, including flight operations, maintenance, ground operations and passenger safety. He will manage the airline's emergency response, audit and internal evaluation programs, and will oversee development and implementation of procedures and training. He began his SkyWest career as a line pilot in 1986. He has held various management positions, including flight instructor, designated examiner, EMB and CRJ flight manager, manager of aircraft operations and most recently, director of flight training and standards.

Gerald Brown has been appointed director of the Utah Department of Workforce Services' Refugee Services Office. Brown has more than 25 years of professional experience working with refugees at the local, national and international levels, both in the private sector and for the federal government. Since 1980, Brown has worked as a consultant and technical assistance provider related to domestic refugee service programs and has provided technical assistance to organizations receiving grants from the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement.
