NEW YORK (AP) — A New York City garbage truck driver who is accused of killing two English tourists after he had a seizure and lost control of his vehicle has been indicted in their deaths.

The indictment was filed Tuesday in Manhattan Criminal Court against 52-year-old Auvryn Scarlett of Irvington, N.J. His truck ran onto the sidewalk and hit the pedestrians on Feb. 12.

A complaint filed when Scarlett was arrested says he admitted to police that he had not taken his anti-seizure medication before the accident.

Scarlett was charged with manslaughter and reckless endangerment when he was arrested last week.
