CEDAR CITY— Southern Utah (6-19, 4-10) women's basketball was routed 82-36 by league-leading South Dakota State (20-6, 13-2) on Monday.

"You can't bring your D-game to play when you take on the best team in the conference," head coach Steve Hodson said. "It also hurt us a lot to lose our starting point guard within the first 15 seconds of the game."

Freshman Kaila Goff's injured her knee in the first 15 seconds of the game.
