J. Andrew Sjoblom, Michael J. Ziouras, Adam Brezine, Stephen P. Nash and Matthew J. Smith have been elected to partnership at the law firm of Holme Roberts & Owen LLP. Sjoblom is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on the prosecution and defense of cases involving intellectual property, contracts and other complex business disputes. Prior to joining HRO, Sjoblom was an associate at a Los Angeles firm. In addition to his Utah practice, Sjoblom continues to litigate cases in California state and federal courts. Ziouras focuses his practice on public and private mergers and acquisitions and public and private securities offerings. Prior to joining HRO, Ziouras was an associate at firms in New York City and Salt Lake City. Brezine has a litigation practice that includes unfair competition, bankruptcy, antitrust, intellectual property, media, sports law, real estate, and creditorsi rights issues. Nash leads the firm's national health-care practice. Nash has focused on health and hospital law since 1976. Smith practices in securities litigation and complex litigation. Specifically, he has represented public companies, directors and officers of public companies, insurance brokers, broker-dealers and individuals in securities and regulatory matters.

Sandra Payne recently joined James & Co. Business Advisors/CPAs as manager of assurance services. Payne brings more than eight years of CPA practice experience to the company. Payne comes to James & Co. from a firm in Texas, where she served as senior auditor.

D. Jason Hawkins and Richard A. Vazquez have been named shareholders of the law firm Snow, Christensen & Martineau. Hawkins has handled business and commercial litigation cases involving a wide variety of claims, including securities, breach of contract, real property, fraud, commercial torts and professional liability claims, among others. Since joining Snow, Christensen & Martineau in 2001, Vazquez has devoted a major part of his practice to tort and insurance work.

Dave Webb has been named U.S. general manager at XanGo LLC. Webb will be responsible for the development and execution of the U.S. market business plan. He previously was a senior sales manager. Webb joined XanGo in late 2004. Before that, he worked at a technology company, a direct-sales company and an independent distributor. He attended Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University.

Kevin Call has joined the Utah County office of Commerce CRG as an agent. He previously spent 15 years as executive vice president of the Utah County Board of Realtors. His education includes degrees from Brigham Young University. He began his real estate career selling homes for another agency and later was a sales manager at another company.

Breanne Moore, Mai Nguon, Julie Pace and Ryan Kendrick have been named branch managers at America First Credit Union. Moore has been named the new manager of the Orem Wal-Mart branch of America First Credit Union. Moore began her career at the credit union in 2003 at the Pleasant Grove Maceys branch. She has served in many positions, including lead teller and assistant manager at the Orem branch. Nguon has been named manager of the Taylorsville Wal-Mart branch. She began working at the credit union in 2004 as a teller at the West Valley Harmons branch. She has served as a back-up lead teller, lead teller and most recently as the assistant manager at the West Jordan branch. Pace has been promoted to the manager position at the Foothill Dan's branch. Pace began her career at the credit union in 1999 as a teller at the Centerville Dick's Market branch. In 2003, she moved to the lead teller position at the branch. Since August of 2006, she has been serving as the assistant manager at the Bountiful branch. Kendrick has been selected as the new manager for the Market at Park City branch. Kendrick began working at the credit union in 2003 as a teller at the Spanish Fork branch. In 2005, he became a loan officer at the Draper branch. Since last April, Kendrick has been the assistant manager at the South Jordan branch.

Jeff Scott has joined FirstWest Benefit Solutions as a benefits consultant. He will work in the company's Salt Lake office and focus on employee benefit and risk strategies for large employer groups. Before joining FirstWest, Scott most recently worked in real estate investments, where he specialized in risk and capital management. He has also worked with other companies in Salt Lake and Denver. Scott's education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Ryan Anderson has been promoted to creative director at Richter7. He was hired by the company in 1998 as art director. Most recently, Anderson was assistant creative director.

Joel R. Wallin has been named executive director of the Downtown Business Alliance of Provo Inc. Wallin has a background in theater and management and has most recently worked as the artistic director at ComedySportz. Wallin will spend much of his time as executive director developing relationships with local business owners, business recruitment, and promotional events.

• The retail team of Harris and Moore — comprised of retail specialists Russ Harris and J.R. Moore, assisted by team manager Stephanie Buranek — have joined CB Richard Ellis. All three joined CB Richard Ellis after careers at another firm. Harris, vice president, will work with both landlords and tenants. Moore, vice president, specializes in retail leasing and tenant representation. Buranek will be the team manager for the new retail team. Her experience includes assisting and completing site location for retail clients and small-shop leasing for developers and landlords.

Keith Hicks has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Global Accessories Inc. Hicks will direct the company's core functions, including operations, manufacturing, customer service, research and development, finance, distribution and product quality. Hicks has nearly 20 years of business operations experience. Prior to joining Global Accessories, he was vice president of operations and technology for a manufacturing and distribution company and also worked at a national consulting firm. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Hillary Kirkman has been hired as an account executive at The Walton Group Inc. Kirkman will work part time while completing her junior year at Utah Valley State College. She will be involved in writing news releases, helping with special events and conducting research. Before returning to school, she was the events coordinator for a local association.

Tom Jackse has joined Ciralight as regional manager of the company's southern California office. Jackse has held several sales positions, including Western sales manager, sales and marketing manager, district sales manager and owner/partner with office supplies businesses.
