A man whom authorities allege was a large-scale Ecstacy dealer in Utah has struck a plea deal with federal prosecutors.
Long Bao Ngo, 32, pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to distribute MDMA. Authorities said between 2001 and 2006, he was involved in the distribution of more than 100,000 Ecstacy pills. Ngo was among five people arrested in the Ecstacy bust. He is accused of supplying others with the party drug, which sold for about $20 each on the streets.
Ngo faces up to 20 years in federal prison when he is sentenced in April. As part of his plea deal, federal prosecutors recommended a 13 year sentence.
