Someone has his or her brain twisted. Of course, it is nice to preserve native languages. However, if those natives expect to get off the reservation and succeed in the real world, they are going to have to learn to communicate in English. If they plan to stay on the reservation and live out their lives, fine. But to go on the reservations and teach classes using those languages does not make sense.

In the real world there is not much room for Navajo, Sioux, Piute or whatever tribal language. Please don't try to convince employers or teachers or any number of other persons off the reservation that there is a real need for those native languages, other than for their preservation.
