A man robbed a Brigham City check-cashing business and tied up an employee Saturday afternoon.

Police say the man walked into Money Bags, 862 S. Main, at about 1:20 p.m., jumped over the counter and held a knife to an employee.

The man reportedly took more than $5,000 from a cash drawer and a safe and then tied up the employee in a back room.

He was described as a 5-foot-9, 200-pound white man in his 30s. He was last seen getting into a green Isuzu Rodeo.
