Glen Thomson has been appointed director of Internet services at CHG Healthcare Services. Thomson has Internet and e-commerce experience dating back to 1999. Before joining CHG Healthcare, he provided Internet leadership as director and manager of Internet teams for five companies and has sales and marketing experience with two other companies.

Ralph Evans and Vinson Johnson have been promoted to vice president, and Richard Heindel, Hazel Springer, Cindy Williams and Sharisse Williams were promoted to associate positions at architectural firm HKS Inc.'s Salt Lake City office.

Kenneth W. Watson and Robert Q. Elder have been added as principals at Ensign Engineering and Land Surveying Inc. Watson has more than 38 years of experience in utility master planning and design; infrastructure design of residential, commercial, institutional and industrial projects; and irrigation, hydrologic and hydraulic engineering design and review. Elder has more than 24 years of experience, having performed and/or managed all civil site engineering, including utilities; water, sewer and storm drain; and site grading for numerous projects.

Gregory Busch has joined the commercial production staff of Wells Fargo Insurance Services. Busch will support Small Business United as a national practice leader.

Ann Cartwright-Bangerter has been appointed the director of sales and marketing at the Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City. She previously was associate director of sales at another Salt Lake hotel. Her prior experience includes sales and catering positions with hotels in California.

Tim Schaeffer has been appointed vice president of strategic development at Listen Technologies Corp. He will be in charge of the company's product development and will research, develop and plan the implementation of new business opportunities. Schaeffer has more than 30 years of sales and marketing management experience in the professional audio industry.

Julia Bond-Smith has been hired as director of client development for the American Academy of Professional Coders, an education and credentialing association for medical coders. She will assist both the education and marketing departments in extending education outreach. He previously worked at a pair of eye centers.

• Village Communities LC has announced several personnel changes. L. Kelly Sheppard has retired as a managing member. Sheppard and Robert Tippets started Village Communities in 1992. Sheppard will continue for the next couple of years in the real estate sales and brokerage business, helping launch Carefree Living Group. Tippets will continue as the executive member/manager of Village Communities. He has more than 34 years of experience working in the construction and real estate development industry, including 20 years in the commercial sector and 14 years in residential development ad construction. Danice (Denny) Taylor, who has been with Village Communities since 1993, will join the ownership of the company as a member/manager. She will continue as operations manager and will also become director of sales and marketing. Mark Brunson, who has been with the company since 2006, also will join the ownership of the company as a member/manager. He will continue as financial director and will take over as business development manager.

• Weber State University President Ann Millner has been appointed to a four-year term on the NCAA Division I board of directors, the highest governing body in the division. Millner will represent the Big Sky Conference on the 18-member board, composed of university and college presidents from across the nation.

David Baird has been appointed director of development at LNR Property Corp.'s Commercial Property Group. Baird will supervise the development of Phase I at Bangerter Crossing Business Park, a 161-acre commercial site in Salt Lake City. Prior to joining LNR Property Corp., Baird served as the economic development manager of Draper. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Jennifer Stoddard has been promoted to special assistant to the president of member services at Family First Federal Credit Union. She retains her current duties but adds working closely with the entire credit union in member service skills and product training. Stoddard has more than 15 years of credit union experience.

David J. Lowe has been appointed senior vice president of manufacturing and product development at SonicScrubbers Co. Lowe will assume responsibility for all SonicScrubbers manufacturing operations, including China and U.S. production, all durables and consumables, research and development for new product development and existing product improvements as well as inventory management. Lowe has experience in manufacturing engineering, including plant management, computerized manufacturing systems, product development and materials management.

Dan Walker has been promoted to director of human resources at Clyde Cos. Inc., the parent company of Geneva Rock, W.W. Clyde & Co., Sunroc, Beehive Insurance and Gorge Rock. He has spent the past 20 years as a human resources professional in the retail, health-care, manufacturing and service industries. Walker's education includes a degree from Utah State University.

Klen P. Brooks has been promoted to vice president of flight operations at SkyWest Airlines. He replaces Bradford R. Holt, who in December was named president and chief operating officer of SkyWest's sister carrier, Atlantic Southeast Airlines. Brooks will be responsible for all areas of flight operations, including the airline's flight standards, flight control and crew scheduling, and will oversee the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. Brooks' SkyWest career began in 1972 and he has held numerous positions since then. His education includes a degree from Dixie College.

Tom Gocke and Steve Elder have been appointed to new roles at Ogio. Gocke, a 15-year veteran of the golf industry and Ogio's national golf sales manager, is now the company's first global director of golf. He joined Ogio in 2005 as regional golf sales manager and later became national golf sales manager. Elder, who until recently was Ogio's director of operations, will serve as director of the company's international division. Prior to working as Ogio's controller and director of information systems, Elder served as a principal consultant for a technology company. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Verl Boyack has joined Christopherson Business Travel as a consultant in the corporate travel division. Boyack has more than 31 years of experience in the travel industry and specializes in international travel.

Leland Hogan, president of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation, has been re-elected to the American Farm Bureau Federation Board of Directors. It is his second term on the board. He has a cattle and hay operation in Tooele County and was elected to his fourth two-year term as president of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation in November.
