Nu Skin Enterprises Inc., a distributor of personal-care products and nutritional supplements, said fourth-quarter profit fell 63 percent.

Net income declined to $5.89 million, or 9 cents a share, from $15.9 million, or 23 cents, a year earlier, the Provo-based company said Wednesday in a statement. Sales of $306.1 million beat the average $299.1 million estimate of six analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.

Nu Skin fell 55 cents to close at $16.50 on Wednesday. In the past year, the company's share prices have ranged from $13.85 to $18.40.
