I can't believe what I read in the Casper Star Tribune about the young man being sent to federal prison for selling a pistol to the Trolley Square mall killer, Sulejman Talovic. Mackenzie Hunter said he felt an amazing amount of guilt when told the handgun was used. The family of one of the victims wants a maximum sentence of 99 months! I can't imagine what purpose that would serve.

If someone buys a car from you and purposely runs someone over, are you guilty because you didn't know they couldn't drive? Is not the person in possession responsible for the use of any tool, knife, drug, electrical appliance?
