Sen. Harry Reid has brought again forward the version of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act containing a provision for "telecom immunity" for criminal complicity in illegal wiretaps of American citizens. I find this unacceptable. Their actions were illegal. They knowingly violated the law. These people should not be allowed to trample on the rights of the American citizen. They must be held accountable for their actions.

I think it is time for Reid to step down as Senate majority leader, as he has demonstrated he does not have the courage to stand up to the White House.
