A word of caution to Jeanetta Williams and the NAACP: The Utah Constitution is not to be trifled with in an effort to enact a form of social engineering to make right a perceived racial injustice. The case for a constitutional amendment must be made on the absolute requirement that Utah and its citizens will be better served, protected or provided for because of the amendment. If the pitch for change is based on an appeal to shame, guilt or obligation, then it's no sale.
