FARMINGTON — The Farmington Parks and Recreation Department is offering classes and events to the public.

Residents may register for six-week beginning/intermediate guitar lessons with Cori Connors on Thursdays beginning Jan. 31. Priority will be given to those who took the fall beginning course. A course on campfire songs is also available.

Senior Night, which is a chance for seniors to enjoy programs produced by Farmington youths, will be held each month on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Programs may include talent shows, skits, singing and games and are followed by light refreshments.

The fourth annual Storytelling Festival will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Community Arts Center. This year's theme is "Amazing Animals and Incredible Journeys." Admission is $1 per child.
