Salt Lake City police Tuesday were looking for a bank robber.
About 2:20 p.m. a man walked into First Utah Credit Union, 208 E. 800 South, and handed the clerk a note demanding money, said Salt Lake police detective Jeff Bedard. The note claimed the man had a weapon though none was seen, he said.
The man fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. Police believe red dye packs placed in the man's bag exploded and were searching the catch the man red handed, literally.
Anyone with information on the robbery can call police at 799-3000.
