Roosevelt Elementary School, 3225 S. 800 East, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The Granite District school first opened its doors to students in the fall of 1907.

Present and past students, teachers, principals and employees are invited to share memories and pictures. Memories can be e-mailed to, or call Parent Teachers Association president Laurie Blake, 485-4460.

The celebration will be on the 100th day of school, Thursday, Feb. 7. An open house will be held from 6-7 p.m., and current students will present a program at 7 p.m.
