OGDEN — Police are looking for a man they said stabbed his brother during a fight.

Police received a 911 call just after midnight Friday about a fight at home on the 2100 block of Reeves Avenue. When officers arrived, they could hear someone moaning in pain.

"They knocked on the door, saying it was the police, and the individual inside told the officers to go away," Ogden Police Lt. Scott Conley said Friday.

Looking around the home, officers could see blood and forced their way into the home. At about the same time, police received another 911 call.

"It was from a man who said he just stabbed his brother and to send medical to where the officers already were," Conley said.

Inside the home, officers found a 38-year-old man who had been stabbed in the chest three times. He was taken to Ogden's McKay-Dee Hospital where he was last reported to be in serious condition.

Police said it appears three men in the home had been drinking when a the fight broke out. The victim has refused to speak to the police, police and the other man found in the home was too intoxicated to provide any information, Conley said.
