DALLAS — Antti Miettinen scored two goals to help the Dallas Stars end a four-game losing streak with a 3-1 victory over the Minnesota Wild on Monday night.

Rookie Matt Niskanen also scored for the Stars, who hadn't lost four in a row since a five-game skid in 2003. Mike Ribeiro, who signed a new five-year, $25 million contract on Monday, added two assists for Dallas.

OILERS 4, ISLANDERS 0: At Edmonton, Alberta, Mathieu Garon made 35 saves for his third shutout of the season and Ales Hemsky and Shawn Horcoff had a goal and assist each for the Edmonton Oilers, who earned their first regulation win in 17 games.

DUCKS 5, PREDATORS 2: At Anaheim, Calif., Chris Pronger and Corey Perry scored power-play goals 1:10 apart to cap a four-goal spurt in the second period, and the Ducks beat the Predators.
