DELTA — Millard County sheriff's deputies are investigating a bizarre home burglary that included carpeting ripped from the floor and chunks of wall disappearing.

The Millard County Sheriff's Office said the break-in happened Dec. 27 at a home near Delta. Deputies responded and found a roll of red carpeting that was removed from the floor and four sheets of white board that was used as a wall-covering in bathrooms. A witness reported seeing a car at the home at 6 a.m. but could not describe it, deputies said.
