WOMEN'S SOCCER: Soccer Buzz Magazine released its final awards for 2007, and four BYU players received national or regional honors. Junior Katie Larkin was named to the All Americas third team and the West All Region first team. Larkin, a native of Draper, led the No. 22 Cougars with 15 goals, five assists, 72 shots, and 42 shots on goal in 2007.Freshman Kassidy Christensen of Bountiful was named to the freshman All Americas Fourth Team and the West's All Freshman Team. Also honored were junior Jessica Harmon-Carter of Provo and senior Erika Woodbury of Murrieta, Calif. Both were named to the West Regionals third team.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Utah Valley will take its four-game winning streak to New Mexico State today at 2 p.m. The Wolverines (13-3) moved to 9-0 at home with a 65-56 win over Nevada on Wednesday but have lost their last three road games. The Aggies (9-3) are 6-1 inside the Pan American Center. Following today's game, the Wolverines will travel to Colorado to face Denver on Tuesday.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Southern Utah will resume conference play on today when the Thunderbirds host the IUPUI Jaguars and meet the Western Illinois Westerwinds on Monday. SUU is 0-2 in Summit League play.
BASKETBALL: Westminster men's and women's basketball teams will host Lewis-Clark State College (Idaho) on Saturday to begin Frontier Conference play. The games are held at the Behnken Field House and start with the women at 5:30 p.m. and the men at 7:30 p.m.
The Westminster men's team comes into the game with a record of 10-2 and a No. 12 ranking. The Griffins have won three straight and nine of the last 10. The Griffin women are currently 13-3 and have won four-of-five. They are ranked No. 23 in the latest NAIA Top-25 poll.
