Mylie is a sweet and cuddly 2-year-old female cat who is exceptionally elegant in her tuxedo coat. She's friendly and fun, and she loves to be held. Her adoption fee is $65.

Charming earned his name by being super silly and cute. He's a 3-year-old neutered male who loves to play fetch. He's excited and enthusiastic but well-mannered. He knows how to sit, play dead and shake on command, and he's alert and attentive. He would do well in a home with older children because he's not used to being around toddlers and can be a little rough. Charming's adoption fee is $95.

If getting your dog or cat microchipped or vaccinated against rabies was one of your resolutions for the new year, take advantage of our rabies and microchip clinics, offered every first and third Wednesday of each month from 1-3 p.m. at our shelter. Rabies vaccinations and microchips are $15 each, and if you live in our jurisdiction, you can license your pet at the same time. It's easy and inexpensive to protect your pet's health and identify him in case he gets lost. And remember, rabies vaccinations are required by law, as is licensing for dogs. Some areas require cats to be licensed as well. A license could save your pet's life, so get these details done early in the year so you can relax and enjoy your pet.
