Bradley Parsons has been named new major-account executive at Mountainland Business Systems. Parsons has been serving the postage industry for the past 25 years.

Rick Lambert, Rick Benn, Mike Dimick and Janet Crane have joined WebBank, a Salt Lake City industrial bank. Lambert is vice president and product manager for the U.S. Government Guarantee Loan Division, overseeing business development and management of commercial loans. He has more than 30 years of experience and previously worked at a couple of other banks. Benn is business development officer. He has 33 years of experience in banking, primarily focused on commercial loans. He has worked at five other banks. Dimick is senior underwriter. He has been in the banking business since 1968. Crane is senior SBA loan administrator. Her career includes 18 years of experience in the banking industry at three other banks.

Julie Paulson and Josh Heath have joined Snapp Conner PR. Paulson's background includes experience in technological and industrial public relations. Heath has a diverse PR background, including implementing an anti-sexual violence campaign for Salt Lake City and writing for the LDS Church's Newsroom Web site.

Todd McKinnon has joined accounting firm Tanner LC as a new partner specializing in audit. He has more than 14 years of experience in business and advisory services. McKinnon's education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Levi J. Clegg and Murry Warhank have joined the Salt Lake City law firm Snow, Christensen & Martineau. Clegg's practice covers a range of civil litigation matters, with an emphasis in real estate and construction law. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah. Warhank's practice encompasses insurance defense and coverage analysis, personal injury defense, product liability defense and business litigation. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Lynn Stephens has joined Mountain America Credit Union as its human resource manager. Stephens comes to Mountain America with a background in the high-tech industry. He has worked in HR for about 20 years.

Dr. Jennifer Holmes has joined Intermountain Medical Group, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at the Salt Lake Clinic. She previously was chief resident at the University of Colorado's department of obstetrics and gynecology. Her education includes degrees from Utah State University and the University of Utah.

Trevor Gilson has been promoted to branch manager of Centennial Bank's Ogden office. Gilson, who has been with the bank since 2006, will manage the day-to-day activities of the branch and will continue his work as a commercial loan officer specializing in commercial construction, commercial real estate and equipment leasing. Gilson has eight years of financial services experience. His education includes a degree from Utah State University, and he is working to complete an MBA from Weber State University.

David P. Jensen has been promoted to managing director at KPMG LLP's Salt Lake City office. He joined KPMG in 2002. Jensen provides federal tax services to public and private clients in the Salt Lake area. He specializes in providing federal tax consulting services related to business transactions, partnership structuring, and mergers and acquisitions. His education includes a degree from Brigham Young University.

Ty Mattingly has been named to the board of directors at Lindon-based DirectPointe. His experience includes building technology companies, including as an investor in his current position as managing director of Primary Colors, a private equity firm, and as an angel investor for the past 10 years for technology companies. He is a cofounder of SBI-Razorfish and Novonyx and has held several executive positions at another high-tech company.

Rick Frenette, executive director of the Utah State Fair, was elected the 2008 chairman of the International Association of Fairs and Expositions. Frenette has been overseeing the year-round activities of the Utah State Fairpark since 2003. He was previously general manager of the Ohio Expo Center and State Fair for 10 years and has also served as finance director at the Minnesota State Fair and part-time assistant general manager at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. His involvement with the IAFE has included terms as Zone 3 director and treasurer, as well as chairing numerous committees. Frenette earned his Certified Fair Executive designation from the IAFE in 1988, and he chairs the Haas & Wilkerson Insurance Golf Tournament at the IAFE Annual Convention. He has also served as president of the Mid-West Fairs Association.

Jeff Tilt has been named a portfolio manager for U.S. Bank Commercial Banking in Utah. Tilt is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial loans for customers in the Utah market. He works at the U.S. Bank office in downtown Salt Lake City. He has been in the financial services industry for five years, most recently as a credit analyst. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Robert Gay, a member of the executive committee of the President's Leadership Council of Brigham Young University and a member of the national Advisory Council of the Marriott Business School at BYU, has been named to the board of directors at Massachusetts-based Merrimack Pharmaceuticals Inc. Steven C. Wheelwright, a director since May 2006, retired from the board after being named president of BYU-Hawaii. Gay has taught economics at Harvard University and joins Merrimack's board having served as the former managing director and chairman of the management committee of Bain Capital.

Dave Wilson has joined Western Governors University as its chief technology officer. He has more than two decades of experience with application design, software engineering and information technology across a wide range of industries and technological disciplines.
