Participants and listeners from all surrounding communities are welcome to be a part of the evening.

"We have decided that there will be no cost to participate in or attend this festival," said Laurie Allen, a member of the Clearfield City Storytelling Committee as well as a member of the Utah Storytelling Guild.

"We want anyone interested in this event to feel welcome and not worry about any costs," Allen said.

All storytellers are required to complete and submit an application prior to Jan. 11.
