MURRAY — Criminal charges have been filed against a man police say robbed a bus driver, then got into a stand-off with a SWAT team.

Anteo Reese, 45, was charged Friday in Salt Lake City's 3rd District Court with first-degree felony aggravated robbery and a class A misdemeanor count of propelling a substance at a peace officer. According to a probable cause statement filed with the charges, Reese robbed a UTA bus driver at knife-point on Dec. 24, taking the man's money and wallet.

Police were then dispatched to a home on Mountain View Drive to investigate reports of a man barricaded inside. He was eventually arrested in a basement, police said. Reese was then taken to a hospital where police said he spit in an officer's face.
