Want your kids to start reading more? Make it a New Year's resolution, and sign them up for the Grizz Kids Winter Reading program at any Salt Lake County library.

Kids can track their reading from Jan. 2 through March 31, complete a reading record and return it to the library for a voucher good for a free ticket to a Utah Grizzlies hockey game. The voucher also allows the rest of the family to get 50 percent off tickets to the game.

Throughout the program, Grizzlies team players and the Grizbee mascot will participate in winter storytimes at several locations:

• West Jordan Library — Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m.

• Smith Library — Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m.

• Riverton Library — Monday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m.

• Draper Library — Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.

• West Valley Library — Tuesday, March 4, at 4 p.m.

• Columbus Library — Tuesday, March 4, at 7 p.m.
