In the event that two adult people choose to dissolve a marriage with children involved, they should do so honorably and respectfully. It is the children who are the innocent victims of adult mistakes and decisions.

It is infuriating that a noncustodial parent may choose to disregard the order of the courts and defy a judge's ruling without consequences. This places extra burden on the custodial parent. There should be penalties faced and privileges lost for those noncustodial parents who choose to ignore their court ordered, mandatory payment for support of their children.
