U.S. marshals arrested a man from Indiana for investigation of robbery and rape on Friday after tracking his credit card transactions to the Salt Lake area.

Charles Robert Farmer has been accused of stalking and raping a woman in Noblesville, Ind. According to The Indianapolis Star newspaper, Farmer met the woman at a Wal-Mart Nov. 25.

The next day, a man dressed as a flower delivery worker went to her house, forced his way in, and raped and beat the woman while her 3-year-old child watched, according to television news WAVE-3.

About four hours later, the woman escaped and called police.

Farmer has been charged in Utah's 3rd District Court with being a fugitive from justice. He will be extradited to Indiana to face several felony charges, according to the Indianapolis paper.
