The FBI said it has arrested a man suspected of robbing a series of banks, including one in Utah.
Art Cheney, 64, of Napa, Calif., was arrested on Wednesday by a California Highway Patrol officer after another robbery.
FBI Special Agent Juan Becerra said the man, known as the "Highway 101 Bandit," had hit more than a dozen banks in California along the 101 corridor. He is also suspected in a bank robbery in Sandy, Becerra said.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Cheney had been giving wine tours in Napa Valley for about a decade, but friends said he seemed to have vanished earlier this year.
