A man who used a baby stroller to steal items last month from the Salt Palace convention center and a woman who carried a baby during the theft were charged this week in 3rd District Court with felony theft and felony burglary.

The pair was videotaped in mid-November stealing about $1,400 of electronics from a secured room at the convention center.

Their movements afterward were traced back to three separate pawn shops, where they sold the stolen goods for $300. They were arrested on Dec. 3 in Salt Lake City.
