OGDEN — A man accused of robbing a credit union had had been there a week earlier, requesting information about his account from the same teller he allegedly robbed.

Police arrested Elrachio Craig, 31, on Wednesday after receiving numerous tips from surveillance photos published in the news media. The photos depicted Craig holding up the Golden West Credit Union on Harrison Boulevard on Tuesday.

According to an FBI affidavit filed with a federal bank robbery charge against Craig, he handed a teller a note that said, "Give me all your money, no funny money, or you will die, put it in a bag." The teller handed over more than $1,000 to Craig, who fled, FBI agents said.

The teller who was robbed told police that the same man had been in the credit union a week ago, inquiring about an account he had. Bank executives were able to locate all of the accounts the teller handled, helping point police to Craig.
