ST. GEORGE — A man changing the CD in his truck ended up driving off the road, falling down a hillside and crashing into the roof of a business, police said.

The crash happened just after 7 p.m. Friday near 400 North and Bluff Street. St. George police said the driver of the truck was heading up a hill onto Donlee Drive when he tried to change a CD.

"The road turned, but he didn't and ran off the north side of the road," St. George Police Sgt. Craig Harding said.

The man's truck ended up rolling down the hill, crashing onto the roof of a business. The truck then fell off the roof, landing between the building and the hillside.

A crane was used to lift the truck back up onto the roadway. The driver, Ryan Carpenter, 26, was not seriously injured, police said.
