The Utah Technology Council will have its ninth annual Hall of Fame celebration tonight at the Grand America Hotel, 555 S. Main.

Bernard Daines and James LeVoy Sorenson will be inducted this year. The Hall of Fame honors people with Utah ties who have "made global contributions to the information-technology and life-science industries through new technology, innovation and leadership."

The keynote speaker will be Paul Otellini, president and chief executive officer of Intel Corp.

The event features networking at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner and program at 7 p.m.
