SAN FRANCISCO — Manny Quezada scored 26 points, including four free throws in the final 14.6 seconds, to lead San Francisco to a 69-64 win over Utah Valley on Wednesday night.

Dior Lowhorn added 19 points and nine rebounds for the Dons (3-3), who led the entire second half but had to survive a late run by UVSC.

San Francisco led 65-55 on Danny Cavic's 3-pointer with 1:57 left to play, but Utah Valley cut the gap in half behind five straight points by Ryan Toolson. Toolson made two free throws and a 3-pointer — his first in eight attempts — before Jordan Brady made a pair of free throws to pull the Wolverines within 65-62 with 49 seconds remaining.

A charging call against Quezada gave Utah Valley a chance to possibly tie, but Joe Walker missed on a driving layup attempt, and the Dons closed out the game from the free throw line.

Jabir Jenna came off the bench with 19 points and Jordan Brady had 12 points and nine rebounds to lead UVSC in the teams' first-ever meeting.
