Receiver Siaha Burley, lineman Hans Olsen and quarterback Joe Germaine were the three most prominent members of the Utah Blaze during the first two years of the team's existence in the Arena Football League.
Now only Germaine remains on the team's roster.
Olsen, the former BYU star, has been released from his contract by the Blaze at his request, Olsen confirmed Tuesday afternoon on 1280 AM (the Zone). Olsen instead will concentrate on his new job the past four months as a morning co-host at the sports/talk radio station.
Burley, who set the AFL receiving record for most yards in a season for the Blaze in '07, previously signed a free agent contract with the rival Arizona Rattlers.
Blaze veteran Rob Gatrell and free agent signee Tupe Peko figure to battle in training camp to replace Olsen as the Blaze's starting center.
