Starting point guard Deron Williams did not take part in the Jazz's morning shootaround Friday, but afterward said he does plan to play in tonight's game against the New Orleans Hornets.

Williams played in the Jazz's most recent game, last Monday's win over New Jersey.

On Tuesday, however, he underwent a surgical procedure to address an ingrown nail on his right big toe.

Williams also did not practice Thursday night, and prior to that session, he suggested it was uncertain if he would be able to go tonight.

On Friday morning, however, Williams said he'd be fine to play after receiving a pain-reducing injection.
