• Park City Group Inc. has announced several moves in recent weeks. Robert W. Allen has joined the board of directors of the company. Allen has more than 30 years of experience in the dairy industry. John Merrill has been promoted to chief financial officer. He will assume responsibilities for all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, regulatory and treasury functions. He will also assume the role of treasurer for the company, concurrently to his appointment as CFO. He joined Park City Group in 2006 as its director of finance, accounting and administration. He has more than 17 years experience in both the public and private sectors of finance and accounting. Annette Thompson has joined the company to manage implementations and direct projects for its Supply Chain Profit Link category management application. Jeff Wilcox has joined the company to handle new sales efforts for its SCPL solution for retailers and suppliers. He will work from offices in Park City and Chicago. Gregory Treat has joined the company to manage analysis and customer service for PCG's Business Metrics Group. He will work from offices in Park City and Denver.

Dan Hoemke has been appointed as senior vice president of sales for HealthEquity. Hoemke had been serving as HealthEquity's vice president of employer and broker sales. Prior to joining HealthEquity, Hoemke founded Hoemke & Associates LLC to provide management consulting and market distribution services to health-care and health insurance-related businesses, and offer insurance brokerage and benefits consulting services to mid-size and large employers. He has experience working at other health-care companies.

Dennis Anderson and Warren D. Owens have been hired at Contract Pal. Anderson is the new director of sales. He will oversee national sales, with a primary focus on the payment processing industry. He has more than 15 years of executive-level sales experience. Owens has been appointed vice president of operations. His experience includes founding Alcove Medical and Reaction Engineering International. His education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Wes Swenson, former CEO at Forum Systems, has been appointed to serve on the newly created advisory board at Center 7. He will advise the company's CEO on overall financial matters, strategic and tactical direction and business development. Swenson has more than 24 years of experience in the high-tech market.

Dave Wentz, president of Usana Health Sciences Inc., has been elected to a second term as vice chairman of the Direct Selling Association board of directors and chairman of the organization's annual meeting. Usana is one of more than 200 companies that are DSA members. Wentz has been on the board more than four years, serving as the chairman of the Direct Selling Education Foundation and DSA vice chairman for 2006-2007. Wentz also is on the CEO Council of the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations, an affiliate of the DSA that works to support direct selling ethics around the world.

Christian M. Dahl has been named large-account sales executive for Humana Inc.'s Utah commercial health insurance business. Dahl has 17 years of experience in the marketing of health and employee benefits to employers in Utah. Dahl will be responsible for new sales, account management, sales administration and retention of large-group customers of 100 or more employees located throughout the state. Dahl's education includes a degree from the University of Utah.

Mike Wilding, a graduate of the University of Utah, has joined Rent-A-Center, based in Texas, as vice president of accounting. He has 17 years of experience at a financial-services company. Wilding will primarily serve as a technical adviser and business process improvement counselor on special financial and information technology projects.

Don L. Buehner has joined the board of directors at CirTran Corp. Buehner has been an entrepreneur and a leader of several businesses since the 1960s. He started Traco Ltd., and until recently served as chairman of Lite Touch. He is the owner of DB Finance.

• The SCO Group Inc. has announced that Sandy Gupta has been promoted to president of the SCO Operations Group Inc. He most recently was chief technology officer and general manager for The SCO Group, one of several senior positions he has held at the company. He joined SCO in 1996 after working for a company in the United Kingdom.

Mike Draper, Tom Draper and Michael Bentley have joined Dynatronics Corp. as direct sales representatives. The Drapers are both from Kansas. Bentley is from Louisiana. The company now has direct distribution in 22 states.<

Derek Smith has been named vice president of sales and marketing at Zagg Inc. He will be responsible for the strategic marketing and sales programs for the company. Smith relocated from Australia to join Zagg. His experience includes work at an Australian company and a health-care organization.

Mark Foote has joined Interline Resources Corp., a company based in Alpine, as the plant manager for the new NorthCut Refining facility in Wyoming. Foote has 28 years of petroleum and refining management and operations experience.
