ST. GEORGE (AP) — The reward for solid information in the fatal shooting of a horse has reached $7,000.

A horse named Crookneck was shot approximately 50 times in Washington County in September.

The Humane Society of Utah has posted a $5,000 reward, and a St. George couple has added $2,000.

The horse's owner, Clark Ence, hopes the money will get people talking.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is pursuing tips, but no arrests have been made. Investigators can be reached at 435-656-6500.
