5-year-old Zade Bowers has fun learning about magnets as part of Celebration of Science activities at Noah Webster Academy in Orem on Thursday. The event featured hands-on experiences for the charter school students to help them understand concepts in science.

A crowd gathers to watch a ball hover over a Bernoulli blower on display at the event. Noah Webster Academy stresses small class sizes and individual instruction. Among its programs are foreign language/cultural integration, music, speech, art, theater, physical education and technology.
