LINDON — Karl G. Maeser Preparatory Academy, a charter high school, has openings for all grades next year.

The school, which opened in the fall, has 75-80 students in each grade.

"We started and we basically had ninth and 10th (grades)," said Steve Whitehouse, the school's chief financial officer. "We'll add another ninth-grade class. We'll have openings in all grades next year, nine through 12."

Students learn by reading classical literature. The school, at 531 N. State, uses Saxon math.
