Don't know what to do what that old clunker of a computer?
How about that 8-track or dual cassette player?
Get rid of all of your electronic waste from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Salt Lake Valley Transfer Station at 3300 S. 502 West.
Salt Lake County is teaming up with the Recycling Coalition of Utah and the Utah Department of Environmental Quality to take in thousands of unwanted computers, monitors, televisions, audio equipment, printers and other home electronic devices and recycle them free of charge.
This e-waste contains metals and other materials such as cadmium, lead and mercury that can become hazardous if not properly disposed of, according to the Salt Lake Valley Health Department.
