SPRINGVILLE — Springville police searched late last Thursday night for teenagers unconventionally disposing of Halloween decorations.

A resident called police around 9 p.m. complaining about kids on a late-night joy ride.

The pumpkin-tossing teens were cruising River Bottom Road picking their ammunition from an orange heap in the bed of their white pickup truck.

"The kids were just lobbing them on the road," Lt. Dave Caron said. "And we don't know where they went. They could have gone in five different directions."
