More than 150 Deseret Morning News readers scored 100 percent in the 2A or 1A Prep Grid Picks contests — correctly prognosticating all quarterfinal, semifinal and championship-game winners in the state playoffs that concluded Saturday.

Thirty-two of 500 entrants in the 2A contest were 7-for-7. Al Lisonbee of West Jordan guessed closest to the final score of the championship game, so he wins the first-place prize of $50 and a Deseret Morning News Grid Picks T-shirt. Six runners-up each win a T-shirt: J.D. Farley, Bountiful; Don Sasser, Eagle Mountain, Utah County; Brent Checketts, Farmington; Tony Sorensen, Morgan; Matt Reynolds, South Jordan; and Gregg Johansen, Coalville.

Of 473 entries in the 1A contest, 128 picked all seven game winners and two of them were right on the final-game score of 35-14. A Deseret Morning News computer assigned a higher random number among the two perfect entries to Todd Davis of Portland, Ore., so he wins the first-place take of $50 and a T-shirt. 1A runners-up: Colby Knight, Pocatello, Idaho; Kurtis Topham, Delta; Andrew Bracken, Herriman; Nikki Christensen, Mountain Home, Duchesne County; Ronald Perkins, West Valley City; and Randy Sartori, Bountiful.
