OGDEN — A man who claimed he had a gun held up a Wells Fargo bank inside a grocery store on Friday while unsuspecting shoppers and baggers went about their business.

Police are seeking a man who went into the Albertson's at 2044 Harrison Blvd. shortly after noon and gave the bank teller a note indicating it was a robbery and he had a gun, according to Ogden Police Lt. Scott Conley.

After getting an undisclosed sum of money, the man ran off.

"He was trying to be as discreet as possible," Conley said. "There are other shoppers in the surveillance video."

The man is described as white; about 25-30 years old; 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 10 inches tall; weighing 165-175 pounds; and wearing a green T-shirt, green baseball cap and glasses.
